Two suspects arrested in shots fired incident on ASU’s campus

Alabama State University officials say two people have been arrested for a shots fired incident on campus over the weekend.

ASU says the two unidentified suspects were taken into custody shortly after the incident occurred.

Homecoming festivities were disrupted Saturday night after reports of multiple gunshots in the tailgate area on campus. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident.

ASU Police say they are working with other law enforcement agencies to further investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
