A Fall Cool Down Ahead
A very quiet weather pattern around here until further notice!  High pressure will be the main weather feature over our area for the next several days. We expect mainly sunny skies with little if any mention of rainfall. Daytime high temps will manage the lower to mid 80s while overnight lows hover in the 50s.
We’re far removed from any significant impacts from Hurricane Milton. The hurricane is expected to make landfall as a major hurricane (cat3 with 120mph winds) near Tampa, Florida this evening.  It will maintain hurricane strength and move across the peninsula then into the Atlantic Thursday. The storm will continue moving eastward out over the open waters of the Atlantic.
There will be a frontal system passing through the area early next week but all indications are the front moves through dry. A much cooler air mass will move in behind the frontal passage. We’re expecting highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s. Definitely a real taste of fall in the making for later next week!
