10 new officers graduate from the Montgomery Police Academy

10 new police officers will soon hit the streets in the area.

The Montgomery Police Academy held its graduation Thursday for Class 2024B-2 at Montgomery City Hall.

Of those 10 new officers, three will begin working with Montgomery Police Departments, one with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, two with Prattville Police Department, one with Troy University Police Department, one in the Arson Bureau of Montgomery Fire/Rescue, one with Wetumpka Police Department and one with Montgomery County Community Corrections.

The new officers completed 15 weeks of training.

AUM’s Director of Police Operations Brenda Mitchell provided the keynote address.
