Mainly sunny, dry, another taste of even cooler fall air this week

Our weekend weather was about as nice as can be in October for central and south Alabama. Sunday morning was quite cool again, with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. However, afternoon temperatures were warmer than Saturday, with highs in the mid to upper 80s in many locations. The sky was cloudless again, with abundant sunshine from sunrise to sunset. Sunday night looks clear and milder with lows near 60°.

Another cold front arrives Monday, dropping temperatures for the rest of the week. Monday could be fairly warm, with highs in the low to mid 80s, especially south. Monday night turns cooler, with lows in the 40s north to mid 50s south. Tuesday remains much cooler, with highs in the low to mid 70s. Tuesday night lows fall into the low to mid 40s. High temperatures remain in the 70s, with lows in the 40s for the rest of the week.
