Almost cold enough for frost Thursday morning

A stiff north wind will keep most locations in the upper 60s for high temperatures today, despite a full supply of sunshine.

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for areas north of Coosa and Tallapoosa Counties in East Alabama, effective late Wednesday night and early tomorrow.  For the Montgomery area, temperatures should bottom out in the upper 30s around sunrise Thursday.

Sunny days and clear nights will continue through the upcoming weekend, as warmer air gradually returns.
