The road to the state championships ran through Montgomery Thursday. Teams from across the state competed in the southern region of the AHSAA volleyball Super Regionals at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.
One loss could end a season and two wins would secure a spot in next week’s state tournament in Birmingham. For some programs like Prattville Christian Academy (PCA), the day offered a chance at history. Meanwhile defending champions like Montgomery Catholic looked to continue their dynasty in a new classification.
