More Record Warmth Ahead

Our summer-like warmth is leading to record high temps!  We tied the record of 88 today and will probably break the record of 88 degrees tomorrow.  All indications are we see temps hover in the upper 80s again Saturday.   It’s a mainly sunny and dry weather pattern and it’s helping the temps soar each day. We do cool down as temps hover in the mid to upper 50s during the overnight periods. High pressure continues to be the dominate weather feature over us and will remain in place through at least Saturday.   A frontal boundary approaches the area and stalls over us late Saturday into Sunday.  At this point, it looks like this front lacks any decent chance for bringing us rainfall.  If any rain does occur, it would mostly likely be Sunday afternoon.   The chance for some shower activity may linger into Monday as well.   High pressure builds right back in behind the frontal passage and we’re mostly sunny with highs still in the 80s most all of next week.  That means Halloween will be warm this year.  We’re expecting a mostly clear sky with temps in the 70s early and then dropping into the 60s during the evening hours.
