Two men dead after shooting in Montgomery

Two men have died after an overnight shooting in Montgomery.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at about 1:57 this morning in the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard.

Both men who were shot were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. They have been identified as Jeroderick Bell, 29, and Devin Ligon, 30, both of Montgomery.

Police have launched a homicide investigation.

Coleman said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident involving people who knew each other.
