Still mainly dry, slightly cooler afternoon temperatures this week

Sunday was another very warm late October day across central and south Alabama. Even though morning lows fell into the low 50s in many locations, temperatures rebounded into the mid 80s to low 90s. Montgomery came within 1° of tying the October 27th record high temperature of 90° from 2010. Sunday night look mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s.

This week looks mainly dry again. Temperatures trend a bit cooler, at least during the afternoon. High temperatures generally range from the low to mid 80s each day. Meanwhile, overnight low temperatures remain quite warm, in the upper 50s to low 60s each night. Next weekend looks dry at this time with similar temperatures- highs in the low 80s, and lows near 60°.
