Mostly sunny Tuesday, low rain chance Wednesday through Friday
Monday was another dry day across central and south Alabama. However, the sky looked a bit different for many during the morning. A low cloud deck formed over east Alabama. However, it gradually eroded away during the day. By the mid to late afternoon, our area was mainly sunny again. However, early clouds resulted in much cooler temperatures east. Highs there were only in the low to mid 70s.
Meanwhile, highs in southwest Alabama were in the low to mid 80s. Monday night looks mostly clear with lows in the mid to upper 50s. Tuesday looks mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Wednesday looks partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 80s. Stray showers appear possible during the afternoon. However, many locations remain dry. A front approaches the southeast Thursday, which may result in isolated showers by Halloween night.
The best chance for rain looks to be in west Alabama. Otherwise, the expect a partly to mostly cloudy sky. The front stalls on approach to Alabama, so temperatures remain warm through the end of the week. Rain coverage also remains low- with only stray to isolated showers at best Friday. This weekend looks dry and warm with high temperatures in the low 80s. Right now, our weather looks similar through election day.
