$2,500 reward offered in hopes of solving Montgomery double homicide

A $2,500 reward is now being offered in the hopes of solving a double homicide in Montgomery that left two men dead.

Police say on Friday, October 25, at about 1:57AM, they and fire medics were called to the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard to a shooting.

When they got to the scene, they found two men with life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Investigators say the victims were pronounced dead at the hospital. The victims were identified as 29-year-old Jeroderick Bell and 30-year-old Devin Ligon, both of Montgomery.

Investigators say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and they believe the offenders were known to one another.

No other information has been released.

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a cash reward starting at $2,500 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the shooter.
