Dry weather for most places on Halloween
Temperatures will run about ten degrees above average today, but remain below record highs for October 31st. Montgomery has reached 90 degrees on Halloween twice in recorded history, most recently in 2016. We expect to peak in the middle 80s this afternoon, then drop into the 70s around sunset.
Rain chances remain very low for most locations on Thursday, but scattered showers and a few thundershowers could occur in western parts of Alabama during the afternoon and evening. Unusually warm days will continue through the upcoming weekend.
