Brundidge man arrested for attempted murder

Brundidge police have made an arrest in a shooting that took place Monday.

Chief Sam Green tells Action 8 News that officers responded to the 700 block of North Main Street in reference to a person shot.

Once they arrived, they found an unidentified male victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim is in stable condition at this time.

Chief Green says Edward Boykins, of Brundidge, was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder.

The case remains under investigation at this time.
