Dallas County voters turned out in numbers yesterday — and elected a new county commissioner.
Orrville town-councilman William Lumpkin was elected to represent the people in the county’s fourth-district.
Lumpkin claimed the seat by winning 66-percent of the vote.
He says he’s ready to get work — to help make communities better.
“We got plan. Some need a community center, some want storm shelters. Some told me they want playgrounds. So, we just got to see what money available,” said Lumpkin.
Newly elected officials will be sworn in — January 13th.
