Actor Clifton Davis visits historic church in Selma

Multi-talented actor, singer, songwriter and minister — Clifton Davis — is in Alabama this week shooting an upcoming television special.

Waka Cliftondavis Fox PkgDavis is the celebrity host of Justice-Sunday — a TV show honoring the work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior.

A segment for the upcoming show was filmed at the historic Tabernacle Baptist Church in Selma.

“Selma has a special place in all of America’s minds because of what happened here,” said Davis.

“And so we’re here because it’s the right place to be to talk about what Dr. King did in organizing support in getting these marches going.”
