Colder Air Will Stick Around For A Few Days!
We’re now on the backside of a secondary frontal boundary and this one is ushering in a much colder air mass. We’re expecting daytime highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s while overnight temps fall into the mid 30s. The blast of cold air will likely lead to areas of frost Friday and Saturday mornings. You may want to check your heating source and have it ready to go! It will be a mainly sunny and dry period but those overnight temps will probably take a little getting use to.
We’re expecting a mainly clear and dry weather pattern over the upcoming weekend. Morning temps will start out in the mid to upper 30s and afternoon highs will manage the mid to upper 60s. Some spots could even nudge the 70 degree mark Sunday afternoon.
There will be more warming heading into early next week. Mid 70s are likely Tuesday into Wednesday. Another frontal system approaches later Tuesday and we could see a few showers entering west Alabama. We will include the chance for showers area wide Wednesday. Model data is suggesting more rain and maybe even a lot more of it around Thanksgiving Day. It’s still a bit early for details but something we will be monitoring.
