Montgomery man charged with two counts of capital murder
A Montgomery man faces two counts of capital murder in the deaths of two people.
Montgomery police say 32-year-old Bennie Humphrey is charged in the October 25 shooting deaths of 29-year-old Jeroderick Bell and 30-year-old Devin Ligon. They were both from Montgomery.
As Action 8 News has reported, the shootings happened in the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard.
Police say Humphrey was taken into custody on November 6 in Texas and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility today, where he is being held without bond.
