Jack’s restaurant celebrates grand reopening in Selma community
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
Folks in Selma welcomed a popular fast-food option back to the city.
Jack’s restaurant held a grand re-opening Monday at its Dallas Avenue location.
The restaurant was torn down back in July — and totally rebuilt from the ground up.
Customers and company officials are both glad to have the store back up and running.
“People are really excited that we’re back open. Right now you can see we’re lined up to the road and we have a double drive thru so, we got a lot of customers coming in today,” said Jack’s Regional Director of Operations Matt Dendy.
“I’m happy. Because you know, I like a burger. And I ain’t the only one. Look at all them cars over there,” said Selma resident Ada Henderson.
Jack’s officials say the re-opening marks the company’s renewed commitment to the Selma community.
The first 50 customers of the day got free breakfast for a whole month.
