Pine Hill Mission provides free Christmas gifts for families

A Wilcox County non-profit hosted a Christmas shopping event today in Pine Hill — to help dozens of families have a very Merry Christmas.

The Family Christmas Sponsorship at Pine Hill Mission — is providing free Christmas gifts to over 70 families.

People who participated got to to pick out several items for each member of their family.

Edith Ruffin is the Founder and CEO of Pine Hill Mission.

“We give them clothing, toys, bikes. And not only for the children, we like for the parents to pick out a Christmas gift for themselves as well,” said Ruffin.

Pine Hill Mission has been sponsoring families for Christmas — since 2007.
