The Cold Air Retreats This Weekend

The cold air mass over will be retreating over the weekend.  We pick up a southerly wind flow and temps begin to climb.  This will cut off the cold air and allow a warming trend to get underway. We could see upper 50s Saturday afternoon and lower 60s by Sunday afternoon.  Along with the warmer air comes an increase in moisture and that will lead to more rain activity early next week.  We expect a several days of clouds and rain to linger over us.  Temps will actually climb a bit and we’re managing upper 60s to lower 70s for highs Monday through the middle of next week. More cold air will come in behind the rain later in the week.
