Warmer temperatures; Cloudy with showers, storms early this week
Sunday turned out to be a gloomy day across central and south Alabama. The sky was mainly cloudy, and rain moved into our area late in the day. However, temperatures were a bit milder, with highs in the 60s. Temperatures remain much milder than recent nights on Sunday night, with lows in the 50s. Otherwise, the sky remains cloudy with more rain.
This week begins cloudy and wet, but warmer. High temperatures approach 70° Monday and Tuesday. Rounds of rain occur throughout Monday. Some storms appear possible Tuesday. A cold front moves through our area Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Rain lingers early Wednesday, but by Wednesday afternoon dry weather with sunshine returns. The rest of the week remains dry but winter cold returns.
