Rain And Storms Likely Tuesday!
A rather wet weather pattern has established itself over us and it will be hanging around for a few more days. Cloudy and wet conditions will be the rule tonight into Tuesday. Rain is likely with thunderstorms coming through Tuesday. Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe. The main threats will be damaging winds up to 60s mph and a few brief tornadoes. Additionally, there will be more heavy rainfall and some spots could pick up another 1 to 2 inches of rainfall.
We expect our weather to settle down going into midweek. A cold front moves through and returns us to drier conditions behind its passage Wednesday. High pressure will help provide a dry and colder air mass for a few days. Morning temps will start out in the lower to mid 30s while afternoon highs only manage the mid to upper 50s through late week.
The chance for showers will need to be mentioned for the upcoming weekend.  The ridge of high pressure moves east of us and that will allow moisture to return. It doesn’t look like anything significant but a few showers can’t be rule out either Saturday or Sunday. Temps will warm and we’re expecting highs in the mid to upper 60s and lows in the mid to upper 40s.
