More Rainfall Tonight But Sunshine Returns Tomorrow
A rather wet weather pattern has established itself over us and it will be hanging around overnight. The rain will continue heaviest in the east with an additional inch of rainfall possible before it tapers off from west to east early Wednesday morning. Temps will fall into the mid to upper 40s behind the rain.
We expect our weather to settle down going into midweek. We’re on the backside of a cold front Wednesday. Cold and dry air flows into the area behind the front. High pressure will help maintain the dry and colder air mass for a few days. Morning temps will start out in the lower to mid 30s while afternoon highs only manage the mid to upper 50s through late week.
The chance for showers will need to be mentioned for the upcoming weekend. The ridge of high pressure moves east of us and that will allow moisture to return. It doesn’t look like anything significant but a few showers can’t be rule out either Saturday or Sunday. Temps will warm and we’re expecting highs in the mid to upper 60s and lows in the mid to upper 40s.
