Widespread rain and thunderstorms today
Periods of rain will continue across Central and South Alabama into Tuesday night, and the rain could be heavy at times. Thunderstorms are also expected to develop in our unusually warm and humid air mass. A few storms could be capable of producing damaging winds, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.
Any lingering showers should end before noon tomorrow, and temperatures likely won’t climb out of the 50s on Wednesday and Thursday.
