Winter cold sets in for the rest of the week, a few weekend showers
Clouds and rain finally departed Wednesday, but winter cold returned. Temperatures fall into the low 30s with a clear sky Wednesday night. Thursday looks sunny but cool with high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Thursday night lows fall into the low and mid 30s. Friday looks partly cloudy with high temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s.
This weekend looks mainly dry, though an approaching front may produce a few showers late Saturday into Sunday. However, the weekend rain potential looks nothing like the December 8th-11th soaking rain. Multiple fronts may approach Alabama through late next week. However, it looks like these fronts have little fuel to work with. That means rain chances may remain low through next Thursday.
