Cold Thursday night, slightly warmer and mainly dry this weekend

Thursday was a sunny day, but temperatures were cool and winter-like. Morning lows were in the upper 20s to low 30s. Afternoon highs were in the mid to upper 50s. Thursday night looks cold again, with lows in the low to mid 30s. The sky remains mostly clear on average. However, Friday looks partly to mostly cloudy. Although, afternoon temperatures might be a bit warmer than Thursday. Highs range from the upper 50s to low 60s.

This weekend looks a bit warmer. High temperatures range from the low to mid 60s Saturday, and mid to upper 60s Sunday. Each day looks partly cloudy. A couple spotty showers appear possible late Saturday into Sunday as a cold front approaches Alabama. However, looks like much of the scattered rain ahead of the front affects north Alabama, rather than our area.

Rain chances remain minimal next week, despite multiple fronts approaching the southeast. One arrives but stalls nearby Monday into Tuesday. Rain coverage looks isolated at best each day. Another front approaches Wednesday into Thursday. Again, little if any rain for Alabama from this front. Temperatures look warmer through Wednesday, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Thursday and Friday turn cooler.
