MPD: Man arrested in November homicide

Montgomery police have made an arrest in a homicide last month near Troy Highway.
Police say 19-year-old Ja’Kyeri McCovery, of Montgomery, is charged in the shooting death of 33-year-old Marcelino Hernandez.
The homicide happened on November 22 around 11:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of Park Towne Way. Once officers arrived, they found Hernandez dead from a gunshot wound.
McCovery is currently in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on no bond.
