Old Man Winter Ready To Return
The spring-like warmth is on the way out and we’re about to see old man winter make his return! Winter officially begins this Saturday. In the meantime, colder air will be spilling into the deep south leading up to the winter solstice. It will come behind a frontal passage overnight into Thursday. Temps will still manage 60s for highs Thursday but only managing the 50s for highs Friday through the weekend. Overnight temps will be much colder with lower to mid 30s. The colder and dry conditions continue into early next week but around Christmas Day we’re expecting showers to be back in the area. Temps will be well into the 60s for highs and lows in the 40s so no white Christmas for us this time around.
