ACTION 8 UPDATE: Person shot and killed Thursday identified as a 13-year-old boy

Montgomery police say the person shot and killed Thursday was a 13-year-old boy.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that the shooting happened about 1:48 a.m. in the 100 block of West Fred D. Gray Avenue.

Coleman said that’s where police and fire medics found the victim with a fatal gunshot wound. Due to his age, the name of the victim will not be released.
