A Cold Weekend But Trending Warmer And Wet Next Week

Winter officially begins Saturday and its arrival coincides with the latest surge of colder air invading the deep south.  You will notice a temperature drop tonight and throughout the weekend.   We start out in the upper 20s to lower  30s and only rebound into the lower 50s both days.  It will be a cold weekend but we don’t see anything really impacting your last minute running around before the holiday.  The colder and dry conditions continue into Monday but we’re gradually warming as we go into the holiday period.   Temps will be well into the 60s for highs and lows in the 40s so no white Christmas for us this time around.  We will be dealing with some showers and possibly t-storms Christmas Day.  Doesn’t look like anything too impressive but rain gear may be required at times.  We will continue in an active weather pattern the remainder of that week.  Periods of showers and t-storms are likely along with milder temps going into the final weekend of December.
