Macon County EMA director announces retirement

Macon County EMA director Frank Lee says he will retire at the end of January.

Lee made the announcement Friday.

Lee dedicated nearly 40 years to public service, serving on the Macon County Commission and the Emergency Management/Director of Homeland Security Director.

Lee was also the first elected and youngest elected public official to serve as the Macon County Commission chairman.
