Salvation Army Church burglarized on Christmas

23salvationarmyThe Salvation Army Church in Montgomery was burglarized on Christmas.

Capt. Thomas Johnson said the break-in was discovered Friday, but it appears to have taken place on the evening of December 25.

Capt. Johnson said the suspected thieves took the flat screen televisions, speakers and sound system from the chapel.

Capt. Johnson said the suspects were able to enter the church on Highland Avenue without tripping the alarm and later turned off the main power to the building.

The Montgomery Police Department is handling the investigation.
