Quiet weather for the rest of this year and start of the new year

Sunday’s weather was calmer with sunshine after Saturday night’s storms. Our weather looks similar for the rest of 2024 and start of 2025. Afternoon temperatures look warm through New Year’s Eve, but colder air arrives New Year’s Eve night. In the wake of Saturday night’s storms, a cold front moved through our area. Sunday night looks cooler with lows in the mid 40s. Some fog may form late into Monday morning.

Monday afternoon becomes sunnier after morning low clouds/fog mix out. Temperatures look quite warm, with highs near 70°. Some clouds move back in Monday night into Tuesday morning. A couple stray showers appear possible. However, most remain dry New Year’s Eve. Afternoon temperatures warm into the 60s to low 70s. However, a cold front results in colder temperatures as we ring in the new Year.

The rest of the week looks cold and winter-like despite sunshine. High temperatures only warm into the 50s Thursday and Friday. Lows fall into the low 30s each night. Next weekend remains cool, but Saturday remains dry with sunshine. However, clouds increase Sunday, and rain arrives late into Sunday night. Rain may depart early next week, but looks like temperatures could be even colder behind another cold front.
