Sunny, dry, cool for the rest of the week; Rain/storms late Sunday
Quiet weather continues across central and south Alabama for the rest of the week. Sunshine remains abundant Thursday. Afternoon high temperatures range from the mid to upper 50s. Thursday night looks cold again with lows near freezing. Temperatures rebound into the upper 50s Friday with a mainly sunny sky. Friday night lows fall into the low 30s again.
The weekend begins dry with sunshine Saturday. Temperatures look cooler though, thanks to a dry cold front that moves through Friday. Highs range from the low to mid 50s. Clouds increase Saturday night. Sunday looks mostly cloudy with some showers during the day. Rain and likely some storms look more likely late Sunday into Monday morning along and ahead of a cold front.
While there is no severe risk for Alabama Sunday into Monday at this time, one could be introduced in the coming days. Stay tuned for updates. Dry weather with sunshine returns next week, at least through Thursday. Temperatures look cool though, with highs in the low to mid 50s and lows in the upper 20s to low 30s.
