Sunshine Saturday, cloudy Sunday, rain Sunday night, cold Monday

Friday was another sunny and cool day. Morning low temperatures were in the upper 20s to low 30s. Afternoon highs were in the upper 50s to low 60s. Friday night looks mainly clear and cold, with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Frost likely forms early Saturday morning as winds become light to calm overnight. Saturday looks sunny at first, but clouds increase late. Temperatures remain cool, with highs in the low to mid 50s.

Sunday looks mainly cloudy with scattered rain during the day. However, temperatures look warmer, with highs near 60° east to mid and maybe upper 60s south and west. Rain and some storms arrive Sunday night ahead of a cold front. Severe storms appear unlikely at this time. Rain departs prior to sunrise Monday. Monday may remain mostly cloudy, and cold behind the front.

Temperatures remain cold through the end of the week despite sunshine. Raw model data suggests high temperatures in the 40s Tuesday through Thursday. Lows may fall into the 20s each night across most of our area. Some rain may return late Friday into next Saturday. Models have suggested frozen precipitation potential across parts of the south, though whether or not that includes our area remains to be seen.
