Butler County Schools delay start time due to cold temperatures

The Butler County School System plans to delay start time next week due to the forecasted extreme cold temperatures.

Officials say from Tuesday, January 7 through Friday, January 10, students will report to school at 9:00 a.m.

Employees are requested to report to work by 8:30 AM to ensure smooth operations and student supervision.

Officials say the decision was made with the priority of keeping all individuals safe during hazardous conditions.
