Montgomery police arrest suspect in October homicide

Montgomery police have made an arrest in connection to a homicide late last year.

19-year-old Bakeith Jackson, Jr., of Montgomery has been charged with two counts of capital murder and three counts of attempted murder.

Jackson is accused of killing 22-year-old Eldren Wright on October 23 in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive.

Jackson was taken into custody on January 4, 2025, by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under no bond.
