CAMPAIGN 2026: Former gubernatorial candidate announces bid for lieutenant governor
A former gubernatorial candidate is once again stepping into the political ring.
Opelika pastor Dean Odle announced in Monday Saturday that he will run for Alabama lieutenant governor in 2026.
Odle ran in the Republican primary against incumbent Gov. Kay Ivey and seven other candidates in 2022.
Odle is the founder and Senior Pastor of Fire & Grace Church and School of Ministry in Opelika. He is also the author of four books.
The Republican primary is scheduled for May 19, 2026.
