Percy Julian honors coach Bryant Johnson, 2020 State Champs
Percy Julian High School honored its longtime basketball head coach Bryant Johnson on Friday. Johnson, who’s coached for 20 years, holds the school records for most wins overall and in a single season, along with the school’s only state championship.
The 2020 Class 7A state championship team was also recognized, having missed their celebration during the pandemic. The players returned to receive their trophies as the crowd applauded.
The Percy Julian Phoenix fell to Enterprise 52-43.
