Accumulating snow for many locations today
Snow will fall today in most areas of Central and South Alabama, as temperatures remain near or below freezing. The heaviest accumulations are expected to occur south of Montgomery and Selma, where two inches or more of snow will be possible.
Montgomery remains at the northern edge of the Winter Storm Warning, meaning that snow is likely to cover the ground as well as some roads in the Capital City Tuesday afternoon. After the sky clears out late tonight, temperatures will plunge into the teens.
