One person killed in pileup on Interstate 65 in Butler County
Action 8 News is on the scene in Butler County where a pileup on Interstate 65 has killed one person.
Greenville police and the Butler County EMA have both told Action 8 News that there could be as many as 20 vehicles involved.
We are near the crash site, which is close to the 122 mile marker, or about eight miles south of the main Greenville exit. There are no other details available about the crash. We do know it happened at about 12:15PM.
The southbound side of the interstate has been closed for hours. Traffic is being detoured off the interstate. But county roads have been deemed impassable due to the snow, so drivers don’t have many options.
