Pike County Judicial Complex flooded after pipes burst

 

Action 8 News has confirmed that pipes that froze, thawed and burst have flooded part of the Pike County Judicial Complex.

Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas told us that five offices are flooded. Crews are working to remove the water and to clean  up the offices.

Thomas says he doesn’t yet know what may have been damaged.

He also said a freezer at the county jail went out, which ruined food that was to be used to feed jail inmates.
