Montgomery Fire/Rescue investigating house fire

Montgomery Fire/Rescue Department investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire just off Troy Highway.

Assistant Fire Chief Stanley Cooper says the fire was reported just before 2AM today at a home in the 5000 block of Jack Pine Drive. That’s in a neighborhood across Troy Highway from True Divine Baptist Church.

Firefighters saw flames from the one-story home when the arrived.

No one was hurt in the fire. Cooper says the Montgomery Fire/Rescue chaplain was on the scene to help the people who lived there.
