Montgomery Public Schools to hold meetings on superintendent search
Montgomery Public Schools will be holding meetings to get the public’s input in its search for a new superintendent.
These meetings are in addition to the online survey that the school system is offering to collect opinions.
Parents, students and other community members are invited to attend a meeting, along with teachers and school staff to share your ideas.
Here is a schedule of the meetings:
- Wednesday, January 29: Virtual meeting of PTA community from 5:00-6:30PM
- Thursday, January 30: Districts 1 & 2 at Faulkner University from 5:00-6:30PM
- Thursday, January 30: Districts 3 & 4 at Carver High School from 5:00-6:30PM
- Thursday, January 30: Districts 5, 6 & 7 at Church of the Highlands from 5:00-6:30PM
- Friday, January 31: Parent Forum at Multiplex at Cramton Bowl from 5:00-6:30PM
The superintendent’s position became open when Dr. Melvin Brown resigned in September after about two years on the job.
