Showers will affect many locations through this afternoon
Periods of rain are expected through the daylight hours of Friday, and a few showers could linger past sunset. A thunderstorm will still be possible Friday afternoon, but any threat for severe weather is diminishing now.
The weekend looks all dry, with full sunshine returning on Sunday. Temperatures should be back over 70 degrees by Sunday afternoon.
