Man dies in Montgomery house fire
A man has died in a Montgomery house fire.
Montgomery Fire/Rescue Assistant Chief Stanley Cooper said the 54-year-old man was found inside a home in the 100 block of Conley Circle, which caught fire at around 5:11PM yesterday.
Cooper said when firefighters arrived, they found the one-story home with smoke and flames coming from it.
He says the man was pronounced dead at Jackson Hospital. No one else was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
