UPDATE: Police search for two Walmart shooting suspects
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
Selma Police are searching for two men wanted on charges of capital murder — and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.
Chief Kenta Fulford says 20 year old Willie James Hunter — and 19 year old Tashun Roderick Bernard Hunter — are wanted in connection with a Friday night shooting at Walmart.
Forty year old Marcus Martin was shot and killed as he sat in his vehicle — when several individuals got into a shoot out in the parking lot.
Fulford says both suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous.
Police have already arrested two juveniles in the case on identical charges.
They went before a judge Monday afternoon.
“The juveniles were advised of their rights. They were advised of their charges and Judge Collins Pettaway appointed defense counsel,” said District Attorney Robert Turner, Jr.
“It seems as if people charged with crimes are getting younger and younger. And it’s just a travesty that these guns are finding themselves in the hands of a younger and younger audience.”
The judge set a preliminary hearing in the case for May 14th.
