Woman seriously hurt in Montgomery shooting

A woman has been seriously hurt in a shooting in Montgomery.

Police Sgt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at about 4:42PM yesterday in the 3100 block of Ravenwood Drive. That location is between Woodley Road and Troy Highway, just south of the bypass.

McGriff said officers found the woman, who was taken to a hospital with what is believed to be a life-threatening gunshot wound.

No other information has been released.
