Cold nights, cool days this weekend; Warmer weather next week

Friday was partly to mostly sunny but cold again. Morning lows were in the low 20s, but wind chills were below 20° for many hours late Thursday night into Friday morning. Temperatures only warmed into the mid 40s to low 50s Friday afternoon, still about 15-20° below average for this time of year. Friday night looks cold again, but not quite as cold as Thursday night.

Overnight lows fall into the upper 20s. However, winds remain light to calm, so no bitter wind chill values this time. Afternoon temperatures trend warmer this weekend, with highs in the 50s to near 60° Saturday and Sunday. Each day looks partly cloudy. A few showers appear possible late Sunday, mainly during the evening. However, rain amounts, coverage, and duration look low.

Sunshine becomes abundant early next week. Sunday night lows fall into the upper 30s to low 40s. High temperatures range from the mid to upper 60s Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday look warmer, with highs in the low 70s. A cold front arrives Thursday. It may produce some rain, but it looks somewhat moisture-starved at this time. Temperatures remain milder behind the front this time, with highs in the 60s Friday.
