Shooting in Montgomery injures a juvenile male

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that injured a juvenile.

Sgt. Tina McGriff tells Action 8 News that around 6:15 p.m. Thursday, officers and fire medics were called to the 2100 block of Powell Lane after receiving a call that a person had been shot.

Once they arrived, they found a juvenile male with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No word on any suspects at this time.
